Privacy Policy
Effective October 13, 2026
The short version
- We collect what you type into our contact form, plus basic analytics about how the site is used.
- We use it to respond to you, figure out whether we can help, and improve the site.
- We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time: security@braincelllabs.com.
1. Who we are
Braincell Labs LLC ("Braincell Labs," "we," "us") operates braincelllabs.com (the "site"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the site only. If you become a client, our written agreement with you governs information we handle for you in that work.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our contact form, we collect:
- Your name, work email and company or organization (required)
- Your website and role or title (optional)
- Your company size, the areas you'd like to improve, your inquiry type, and anything you write about your challenge
We also record the date and time of your submission and the page you submitted it from. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, time on page, the site that referred you, your general location (city or country, estimated from your IP address), and your device and browser type. See Cookies and analytics.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the date, time and pages requested. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
- Fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser information.
Search engine tools we use, such as Google Search Console, report on how the site appears in search results. They do not identify individual visitors.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry, ask follow-up questions, and send you a confirmation that we received it
- To understand your needs, assess whether and how we can help, and prepare for conversations with you
- To understand how the site is used and improve its content and performance
- To protect the site and our business from spam, fraud and abuse
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use
We only send you marketing emails if you ask us to, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. The site itself does not set cookies. Google Analytics sets the following cookies to tell visits apart and measure site usage:
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique visitors | Up to 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your current session | Up to 2 years |
Google processes this data under its own privacy policy, described at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. We do not use advertising cookies, and we have not turned on Google's advertising features for our analytics.
Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site will continue to work normally.
Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, so the site does not currently respond to these signals. You can still opt out of analytics using the options above.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with:
- Service providers who run our business, under contracts that limit how they can use it: Google (Google Workspace for email and for storing form submissions, Google Analytics, and Google Fonts) and Hostinger (website hosting).
- Professional advisors, such as lawyers and accountants, when needed.
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, safety or property.
- A buyer or successor, if Braincell Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We would require them to honor this policy.
6. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, and then delete it automatically, unless you become a client, we are actively working together, or the law requires us to keep it longer. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Our hosting provider keeps server logs for a limited period under its own policies.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including access limited to our team and two-step verification on our accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. Please don't send highly sensitive information, such as passwords, financial account numbers or health information, through the contact form.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
- Correct information that's inaccurate
- Delete your information
- Stop contacting you
Email security@braincelllabs.com with your request. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it, and we'll respond as required by applicable law. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
California residents. Depending on how the law applies to us, California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete and correct personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in that law. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
9. Children
The site is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Visitors outside the United States
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. By using the site, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we'll post a notice on the site.
